Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a soon-to-graduate nursing student. I am very experienced with children, and have served as a volunteer at my church for kids ranging from preschool to high school since for over 7 years. With this experience, I regularly interacted and played with kids, as well as formed fun and engaging activities for them. Additionally, I have completed 132 hours of inpatient care in the NICU, which has enabled me to have a deep understanding of how to care for infants. I am BLS/CPR and NRP certified, and am confident in my ability to change diapers, feed children, and assess for abnormal changes. When I am not in school, I enjoy drawing, baking, and listening to music. I would love to create a positive environment and engage children in art, baking, and/or music!
