I am a parent, and I have loved watching my daughter grow and learn. Every age is wonderful in its own way. I think there's something incredible about watching a child learn a new skill, and realize their own abilities. I also just love getting down on the floor, meeting them where they are, and playing within their own world. I have felt very comfortable around children for a very long time and have babysat for friends and family for a few decades. A bit about me, professionally: With a PhD in Biology, I work as a research scientist at Stanford University. After receiving my doctoral degree, I have taught students both in the US and abroad. In addition to science, I have taught dance lessons, music lesson, and swim lesson to students of many ages. I love teaching, and I love working AND playing with kids. In my spare Read more time, I love to read. I also love spending time in nature, hiking and camping, swimming, making music, writing, and dancing.
