Hi! My name is Meredith. I’ve been working in childcare and babysitting consistently for the last 16 years. For the last two years, I have been working with multiple families as a part-time and on-call nanny and babysitter. In the past I have worked as a live-in nanny for my brother’s family with a now 3 year old boy and a 7 year old girl, while also working as a choreographer and assistant director for a children’s theater company with children kindergarten to 8th grade. I currently work for a non-profit in Los Angeles as needed and am pursuing certification to substitute teach. I am looking for part-time nannying and occasional babysitting jobs. I consider myself to be hard-working, flexible, patient, caring, easy-going, creative, fun, silly, playful, determined, and organized. When working with children I like to play imagination games, spend time outdoors, do arts and crafts, sing and make Read more music, dance, and read. Working with children is one of my main passions in life and one of the top things I consider myself to be really good at. I love getting to watch them grow and make discoveries. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a concept click in a child’s mind. I also love how much I learn from children as an adult. I see every day as an opportunity for discovery for the both of us. I have also recently began working with animals, volunteering for a rescue and pet sitting. I grew up around animals and was absolutely overjoyed when I learned that I could make money while spending time with them. Currently I volunteer my time, as I can, transporting dogs to and from appointments for a non-profit husky rescue based out of Los Angeles.
