In my youth, it was our family culture for the girls to care for the younger children. It has always been instinct to show love and patience to all I meet. I love the innocent adventurous way they learn everyday. As a teenager I began sitting for family and friends and fell in love with the role of a caregiver. The magnitude of balancing authority with friendship while always teaching according to the parent's wishes. Through out high school I participated in tutoring grade school children and mentoring younger classmates. I was also a teacher aid assisting with assignments and lesson planning. As a mother of two boys, I now truely understand the importance of a caring, patient and deligent caregiver.
