I have had a lot of paid babysitting experience with my four cousins who are 2,4,6, and 7 years old. I babysit them all at the same time for sometimes weeks because of how busy their parents are. I’ve also babysat my mother’s friends kids and their daughter loves me. I’ve been babysitting since I was 17 years old and I honestly love kids so much and that’s the biggest reason I want to nanny or babysit more. In high school I took two child development classes and I took Psychology 101, Human Development and Child Development in college so I know how to keep them entertained and make sure they get what they need.

Unprofessional and lack of work ethic for a long term nanny. Occasional date nights would probably be more appropriate due to unreliability.

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
