I just wanted to write this review to say how much I truly appreciated Laurie's professional, kind and supportive ways in making our out of town Wedding trip with the kids a perfect success! She was flexible and easy to coordinate with as we were traveling from Northern California to attend a friends wedding on the fourth of July in beautiful Santa Barbara. The wedding reception dinner didn't include kids so I needed to find someone to watch them until we could pick them up after dinner. When I first made contact with Laurie she gladly answered all of my questions and even kept in contact through phone and texting to help put me at ease every step along the way. This is the first time I had ever had someone outside of my immediate family or friends circle watch my kids. I'm thrilled that Laurie was the one to be that person. My kids loved her and said how nice she was. Also during the wedding reception Laurie and the kids would text me photos to let me know everyone was happy, safe and having a great time. My kids are pretty well behaved as is but I could tell Laurie would have been able to engage and have fun with even some more lively kids as well. She even brought some board games just in case there wasn't much to do (since we were away from home traveling). My daughter is 5 and my son is almost 12 and they both had fun with Laurie. I have to say Thank you again to Laurie for being so terrific and for being such a great communicator! Thank you, Jenn

Laurie is great! I have one daughter who is nearly two, and she gets along with her very well. Laurie is friendly and energetic without being overwhelming for the little one, and really has gone above and beyond in finding activities to engage her. They sing songs, read books, go out to the park--she even brought some of her own toys/books for her to play with. She has been a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire her again.

I cannot rave enough about how wonderful Laurie was with my 3 girls! She was available last minute for a very long day. She kept me updated throughout the day with adorable pictures of my girls having fun & being active. She kept them entertained, fed & rested, and then went above & beyond by doing some dishes & light cleaning! I felt that my precious babies were safe & enriched & would not hesitate to hire her again.

Laurie is awesome! Rather than just sit around and watch the kids play, she was so involved. When we returned home, they had done some cooking, made cookies, and completed some crafts! Our kids absolutley loved her. She was on time and an absolute pleasure to have in our home.

If I could give Laurie 10 stars I would! Laurie is amazing with our daughter, so much so that she is asked for long after she has left our home! Laurie was able to help us out when we were in a bind and needed last minute childcare, she was on time and stuck to all the requests we made in terms of schedule/meals/play, etc and she even brought her own "goody bag" of books, toys, songs, that helped make the transition from mommy to babysitter so much easier than normal. I think my 2 yr old was actually excited for mommy to leave so she could play with Laurie! We are so grateful for Laurie's help and hope to see her many times in the future.

Laurie has a knack for engaging children. My son is not fluent in English and yet she was able to interest him in several fun activities like coloring Easter eggs, baking cookies, reading and playing board games. Laurie definitely goes above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend hiring her.
