All my previous jobs and volunteer work have always been surrounded by kids. I come from a big family, so taking care of kids is natural to me. I enjoy it because when you see how kids interact, learn, and do everyday things it amazes me how smart and compassionate they are. I know how difficult it can be to find help and find people who can bond with your kids, since every child learns, acts, and grows up a different way. I have also worked with special needs kids, so I know how to handle tantrums and unexpected behaviors. I have worked at a child care nursery at my old church in Los Angeles. I worked with ages of new born to 14. I also volunteered at events called Sierra Service Project, helping kids for a week long camping trip build houses for the homeless or elderly. I also Read more have volunteered at a shelter called kids of the night, where I helped children from the ages 12-17 handle the past trauma they have been through. After this, I have also worked at an autism center where I practiced repetitive routines and corrected behaviors for these children and their siblings. This helped the family learn how to handle the special needs and keep everyone on the same page with a organized routine. Between all of these jobs and volunteer work, I have babysat for different people in the communities of Los Angeles and San Diego where I took the kids to school and extra practices they had, fed them, helped them with homework, and watched them when parents were out of town. Along with this, I made sure to keep the house clean and tidy, while also prepping dinners, doing laundry, cleaning the kid’s rooms, and walking the dogs. I am very flexible and love to work with kids of all ages!

Rose was offered a position last week. I told her that it was best to work one day and let me know whether or not she likes the position. At the end of the day on Friday she made us all believe that she will be back on Monday. She never showed up Monday morning, nor called or bothered to even send an email just did not show up!
