I have had internships at my elementary school for first and fifth graders for the past 2 years. I hope to go into education or psychology and work with youth. Ever since I was in elementary school I’ve always wanted to help other kids whether that was with their emotional or personal issues at home or issues at school. I didn’t always come from a happy home and I wanted to make sure any kid that may be going through difficult times as well, would have a chance to have a safe place and somone who would be there for them.
