I have worked with individuals who has autism (kids, teens, adults) in a home setting as well as school settings. The duties I've done are helping individuals with schoolwork, bathing/hygiene, cleaning homes/rooms, doing activities (yoga, walks, outings, puzzles) and just being a friend and experiencing life in general. On my free time, I enjoy reading, Hikes/walks, cooking, dining out, road trips (I love going to Tahoe!) and most of all being with my family and having family gatherings. I'm a mother of two teenage boys who I've raised alone. I work full-time in a school that serves students with Autism and have been with the company for over 10 years. I also attend school part-time online in pursuing a degree in Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (hopefully SLP).
