I enjoy spending time with young people. They are curious, honest and naturally creative. We will do wonderful things together - including diaper changes! I believe all children, no matter their age, can participate in their own care and growth. The options for us to learn, explore, play and help others are endless. We can look at and read books, listen to and make music, spend time in nature, use our imaginations and create our own pieces of art. I like to celebrate people's differences and let every child find their own voice. I prefer patience, open communication, understanding and nurturing to time-outs or rewards and punishments. I look forward, and would be honored, to spend time with your children. (I have two beautiful sons who have both graduated from high school.) Most recently, I worked at a local children's center (birth to age five, activity-based curriculum) in 2018, and Read more have taken several early childhood education college courses. (I am also employed part-time as a (senior) caregiver.)
