Meet Yasmine

  • Comfortable with pets

Hello! My name is Yasmine, but you can call me Yas! Being a caretaker has been a huge part of my life since I could remember. I take great pride in being a fun, caring, and energetic babysitter. Growing up, I would take care of my younger brother a lot, as well as my ailing mother. By 18, I was head of household, supporting and caring for both my 10 year old brother and my disabled mother. When I wasn't grooming cats and dogs at work, I would be caring for my coworkers kids. We would talk about video games like Minecraft and Fortnite, do arts and crafts, complete homework, and make snacks and meals until their parents came home. I do not have much experience with infants, but I am always willing to expand that experience, as I have many years (unpaid and paid) experience caring for toddlers and Read more children aged from 4 to 12. I have experience with and work especially well with children that may have ADHD, autism, and more, as many children I have cared for in the past have had these (including my brother). More recently, I've been spending a lot of time with my nephews (aged 3 and 5) and we love playing Mario, working on our handwriting, learning new words, and playing with hot wheels (but very dramatically, like Fast & Furious). I love to be a fun, high-energy, and patient babysitter, but I also know how to reign them in when it gets a little too wild or messy (we usually make a game out of it). I adore taking care of kids, and it goes without saying that this extends to pets as well. I love our furry companions! I also have my own car, so fret not, we can make trips to get froyo while you are gone. I strive to make every moment a fun and enjoyable one for everyone I am around, and I would love to share that with your child. I truly hope you will consider me to care for your baby, as I'm sure we would get along great!
