Whether you're looking for a date-night sitter, a regular care provider, or a tutor directed at content improvement, I would be a consummate addition to your child's life. I received my Master's in Education and teaching credential from UCSB. As a current teacher working at a local middle school, I enjoy the creativity and energy of that age group. I entered the public education profession with fifteen years of experience outside the classroom, including running the three-year-old program at Breckenridge Ski School and alternative, outdoor education. In my middle school classroom, there is less room to bring these passions to life in my students and work on the relationship-building that happens when a child interacts with their educator one-on-one. This is my favorite part about teaching, and why I am looking to supplement my career by returning to this work. While your children are with me, you may expect the Read more following: your child will adopt my contagious passion for curiosity, to learn and grow through innovative, creative, problem-solving. Many parents have noted an improvement in communication and social skills in their child, as well as discovering and developing a deeper interest in themselves and the world around them. I am considerate, genuine, courteous, polite, and extremely patient. My time in public education has also made me efficient and economy-minded. (I know how to stretch limited resources!) These are some of the reasons I have been widely accepted into the lives of all my childcare families. I have continued this rewarding work with children for over 15 years because they inspire me! My extensive work in various child-related fields showcases my passion and talent for education and empowerment. Please reach out to me with any questions or to schedule a first time collaborative consultation. I look forward to meeting your family!
