Hello families! You can calll me Xio (pronounced like “syo” derived from Xiomara). I am both African American and Dominican so I speak English and I am able to speak Spanish at a conversational level. When I was very young I was tasked with raising my three siblings, as my mother suffered from depression, and my father was absent. Ever since then I have had a passion for bettering the experiences of the younger generations. Life was hard for my siblings and I; if I can better the lives of the children around me maybe it will have all been worth the pain. I am now enrolled in college taking classes to become a teacher so all of this childcare information is still fresh in my head. I also have experience working in a day care, multiple summer camps, and in the preschool/ child development center at my college. Please Read more contact me with any questions, and I look forward to meeting you :D
