My name is,Amari Menefield, I am a 20 year old college student to become an Elementary school teacher. I have always loved watching kids since I was old enough to and I am very family oriented person! I’ve been watching family’s children since I was about 12 years old, unpaid, and recently started taking care of my nephew, while my sister is at work, being paid to do so might I add. I believe that I will be good sitter because I have worked in a preschool at my old high school, where kids were actually there. My duties in the preschools consisted on helping the kids learn how to read, write, play nicely together, learn their shapes and sizes along with colors.. I sometimes even tested the children when needed to and I also made sure they had a safe and friendly environment. I think something that sets me Read more apart is having experience with working at a preschool, although i wasn’t being paid for it, I did it for school credits, I still worked at the preschool and learned more about children. I am also willing to become CPR certified in order to be able to take care of the children just in case, god forbid, something did happen like a kid choking, while in my care so that I can help them.
