I had started the process of hiring Briana. The conversations were going really well and we even scheduled a day to interview. But then 30min before she was due to arrive, she cancelled. I reached out to her several times but never received any kind of response after 24hrs. As parents on this app we are looking for someone to care for our children who can be reliable, communicate, and respectful of our time, and in return we do the same. If I had hired her and she had done this I would have been left scrambling at the last minute. I understand sometimes people change their minds, emergencies come up, or life happens, but I would expect the courtesy of some kind of communication in that instance. No warning and no communication are huge red flags…
