Hi! I currently work as a registered behavioral technician and primarily provided services to children with autism. I am planning to start graduate school in early education/special education with a focus on ABA. I began babysitting around 13 years old and quickly became the neighborhood go-to babysitter. My current job frequently has cancelations and inconsistent hours, so, I am hoping to find extra work to save for grad school. I love my current job and I frequently say I get paid to have fun while teaching kiddos how to become more independent. For those who are unaware of what ABA is--it is a fancy way of using positive reinforcement, redirection, and other scientifically backed interventions to improve behavior, develop meaningful skills and learn how to communicate. Now, I ethically can not provide ABA to your family but I will use my skills in a way that gets your kiddo to Read more finish their homework and get bed on time. For my current job, I am required to have the following: a fingerprint scan (criminal background check), up to date with all vaccines, reliable vehicle and clean driving record, CPR certified for toddlers to adult, RBT certification and a bachelors degree. I am available all day Sat and Sun, but will only be available after 6:00pm M-F. I hope to work with you!
