Hello, my name is Julia and I am a 24-year-old college student looking to work with children and families within my community. I have over 9 years of childcare experience and look forward to obtaining my teaching credentials in order to make an impact on my local community, educating young children. I have worked with a wide variety of children; specializing in newborn, infancy and children with disabilities. My following qualifications include: Organizing activities that develop children physical, emotional and social growth. Establishing and maintaining a safe play environment for the children. Teaching children personal care behaviors, including toilet training and feeding. Coordinated field trips to local parks, fire stations and zoos. Meal preparation. Encouraging curiosity, exploration and problem-solving with age-appropriate playtime activities. Clearly communicating to children in developmentally appropriate ways. Fulfilling any and all needs of families I come in contact with.
