Hi! I’m Erin, and currently live in the Antelope Valley. My professional experience is comprised primarily of childcare of preschool and elementary school-aged children (10 yrs experience), restaurant and food service (10 yrs), and basic emergency medicine and pre-nursing sciences (5 yrs). I am very play-oriented, and I have the philosophy that play is often the best way children—especially small children—can learn AND learn how to enjoy learning. I have some experience in tutoring, and through my LA County Parks & Recreation experience in the Greater Los Angeles area, have developed community-focused children’s and teen programs, including a creative writing class, and a culinary arts program that later turned county-wide after it’s humble beginnings in the Antelope Valley. Throughout my twenties I lived in Long Beach and worked in restaurants, serving, tending bar, managing, and working large catering events such as wedding receptions and New Year’s Eve block parties. I Read more currently work as an EMT in a busy, 911 system. Each of these experiences, I hope, can allow me to contribute to your family. I’d like to be a positive and encouraging addition to your child’s life. I am happy to prepare snacks, grocery shop, run errands, transport children to practices or appointments, clean, and assist with homework. My rates can be negotiated and my schedule can be flexible. I would love to hear about what needs your family has and how I can make your lives simpler, or allow you to spend more quality time with your family and have less of the weight on you. I would be happy to set a meeting with you! Texting is best for prompt response. Looking forward to the chat!
