Hi! My name is Susan and I’m an online graduate student at Grand Canyon University (Go Lopes). I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education, minor in Psychology. I am currently teaching 4th grade special Education. My experience with children started when I became an aunt 9 years ago with my sister’s first child and sure enough I became their sitter on a regular basis. Through my studies, I have been placed to teach in different schools for the past three years. I really enjoy seeing children in both an educational and non-educational setting. I like to play, use creative play, use our imaginations, be active, read, and have fun with children. I also really enjoy challenging kids and adding in educational aspects to play, asking children why and how, and taking their knowledge and understanding one step further.
