Hello, my name is Ally! I’ve been taking care of my nephews since they were born (they are currently teens now!). Primarily unpaid except for weekends, but I babysat for them daily for multiple years. They currently live with me and have for the past 7 years, so I am very comfortable around kids. I am a certified EMT with 4 years of experience in special events (marathons, other runs, concerts, plays, comic-con, etc.) and also work in a medical office as a scribe. I have experience working with children and providing care to children, so your child will be in safe hands! It is very rewarding to me when I can make a kid who is scared because of an injury feel safe or smile. As an EMT, I have legally gone through a background check to work in the county of San Diego. I also have experience working Read more as an athletic training student throughout high school so if your child is an athlete, I can help them with injury prevention, taping, stretching, etc. I also love playing sports (mostly softball/baseball, football, and soccer) and am an avid backpacker, camper, and hiker. I am certified in wilderness medicine. I have a Bachelor of Science in biology with a pre-med emphasis and have recently been accepted to physician assistant school! So, I am definitely able to help your child with any homework needs. I have experience working with children with ADHD and have done some tutoring. I have also played guitar and bass for 12 years and love music, so if your child is learning to play an instrument, I could play with them or help (if guitar/bass). I also play some piano and drums. Overall, I am just looking to help out a family in need of babysitting and give those children a safe, fun environment to be in. Thanks!
