Hello! My name is Marian and I am a fourth year Political Science major at UC Irvine. I speak Spanish fluently and French intermediately. I've worked with children most of my life starting in middle school. I was able to do so through my church where I would volunteer to look over the nursery and 3-5 year olds for up to four hours every Sunday. I continued to look over children in high school with a yearly bible summer camp and became a tutor at Kumon for almost 2 years. Here the ages of children I tutored ranged from 5-12 years old. In my time at UCI, I've been able to occasionally volunteer at Turtle Rock Elementary and assist the teachers with some classroom support. I come from a big family with four sisters where I've definitely come to realize the importance of patience, kindness, compassion, and my love for Read more kids.
