Working with children brings me a type of joy and fulfillment that I am unable to find anywhere else. I am beyond excited to be a mother one day but for the moment, I am dedicated to spreading my love for children in other ways. I have experience babysitting a 6 and 8 year old full time for two years and it was truly the best time of my life. I am currently a student at UCSB and I am a part of our Mindful Mentors club. Through this club I am able to participate as an assistant teacher in elementary schools while presenting lessons on mindfulness and kid friendly methods for 1st and 2nd graders to manage their emotions. I have found so much joy being a part of this club and I would love to share this knowledge and love with other children as well.
