Hello, my name is Paloma A, I am 21 years old, soon to be 22. At just 21 years of age, I have a multitude of years of experience with and dealing with children. At a very young age, I knew that in the future I wanted work with children. Because I heard adults talk about having a job that we’d love and enjoy doing every day, I knew I would be getting a job teaching children. When I was thirteen, I quickly learned how to hold an infant properly, to change diapers, how to make bottles, and overall how to care for a child. I acquired many skills that some people learn later in their life. On my free time I am a soccer referee, and through refereeing I have acquired skills to speak to different kinds of children/ teenagers. Depending on their personality/ way of speaking, I adjust Read more to let them know they are heard and acknowledged while still letting them know I am the authority figure. Letting children express themselves is really important to me, I like to hear them out. I like to let children know that they are cared for, and they matter. Because I one day plan to be “the best preschool teacher ever” I am in college and will be majoring in Child Development. I took a semester off to make a better income but I plan to go back to school next semester. While I’m on my break from school I would love to be a babysitter or nanny to children. I want to be able to grow my experience, and be someone to care for a little one.
