Hi, my name is Janelle Retana. I finished schooling Mt Sac and graduated Rancho Cucamonga High School with honors. I have an associate's degree in business, but I also have certifications in child development. I have been a professional caregiver for seven years, but I have been a sitter since I was ten years old. I was a volunteer Sunday school teacher for toddlers and children of 4-6 years old. I have worked for the YMCA and Kindercare. I cared for twin toddlers (boy/girl) and their older sister. I was their caregiver for two years. I have cared for all ages but I am most familiar with babies, toddlers, and young children. Although, I am most comfortable with all ages. I have a dog so I am comfortable with animals. I love animals! I definitely encourage keeping kids active and healthy eating. I encourage outdoor activities such as sports and Read more playing at the park. Over all I have the children's best interest at heart and the parent's consent in mind at all times.

From the moment we met Janelle we were impressed with her professionalism and friendliness. She did great with our young toddler son and she is now our go to caregiver. Her experience and education really shines through. She is very genuine and personable. She made it a point to mention that she likes to follow the parents' lead as far as routine and bedtime practices, etc. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter or nanny.
