I am a former childcare worker and teacher. I worked at a privately owned children's school for 7 years. I Read more enjoyed creating art projects for them, that they could proudly bring home to their parents. Reading them stories and singing songs. We also played fun learning games that I made up for them. We did outdoor activities, so they could explore their surroundings and learn new things about nature. I also attended and completed a 20 Hour Childcare course as well a class about Blood Pathogens and a CPR and First Aid class. All provided and required by the State of Washington. I think working with children is a joy, because of their natural curiosity. Also being able to watch the big smile on their faces when they learn something new, or are able to accomplish a new skill or discover something about themselves that they didn't know before. That made everyday with them an exciting and a fun experience for me as well. I raised two wonderful sons. I also had a daycare in my home for three children, until my youngest went to his own preschool. I'm really looking forward to meeting you and your family.
