Hello! I have been working with kids for about 6 years. I’m looking to make extra cash on the weekends or evenings on the weekdays. I started taking care of family members before starting to work for a babysitting company. In this company I took care of of infants to elementary age. I did a lot of activities, went outside to either the backyard or to a park, if it was walking distance. I cooked simple foods, gave snack, put the kids to bed, and read books. I then started to work as a camp counselor for about three summers and got offered a position at their afterschool program which I currently work at. In this position, I create lesson plans to a bigger group, help them find independence, learn about boundaries and responsibility.
