Hello! My name is Karina and I am a local from Santa Barbara. I am currently in my last year of undergrad at UCSB and plan to continue there while I obtain my teaching credential / master's in education. I have loved working with kids since I began living with my niece and nephew 5 years ago. My nephew has autism and that has taught me a lot of patient and kindness when it comes to caring for children, especially toddlers. I also have experience working with children grades 1st-6th through the City of Santa Barbara's Summer Fun program at Washington elementary school. I would love to continue working with children as they bring such sunshine and happiness into any environment.
