I am a master's marriage and family therapy student who is seeking licensure to become a therapist in the state of CA! I absolutely love working with kids and I seek to work mainly with children and their families in my future professional career. I have experience as a YMCA student counsellor during summer camps, I have facilitated cheerleading, dance, dodgeball, water sports, and musical theatre camps and after school programs (working at a company called Fitkidz America which aimed to teach kids how exercise can be fun). I have spent the last year working at a domestic violence advocacy center in which I have worked with multiple children, creating strong bonds, and engaging in play in order to strengthen their emotional intelligence, communication skills, and coping skills. I am excited for the opportunity to build my skills working with children and their families!
