Although I’ve never babysat as a full-time job, I’ve babysat children ages 5-14 numerous times in the past. I worked as a gymnastics coach (mainly competitive) for children ages 2-17 years old for 7 years and, as such, have experience working with children of all ages. I volunteered as a teacher’s assistant for a year and a half in a second grade integrated classroom (it included several special needs students). My younger sister is special needs and falls on the autism spectrum and I volunteered with the special needs program while in middle and high school and thoroughly enjoy working with special needs children. I’m a certified Emergency Medical Technician with two years of experience working in a 911-system on an ambulance so I’m prepared for any medical or traumatic emergencies, should they occur. I’m currently going to paramedic school full-time at Sacramento State Universiry.
