I have been working with children and adults with disabilities for a little over 15 years now. I have always loved helping familys and individuals and have made a career out of it! My husband was in the military so we have moved around a bit but it has been such an incredible way to experience a wide variety of cultures and lifestyles. We just moved back home to California and after 8 years of trying we are expecting our fist baby in march. I am needing to cut back on the amout of time I spend at work. Even though I love what I do, it just isnt a good balance for our family any more which is why I am excited to look into doing more personalized care. I know some ASL but am not fluent, have had experience working with all ages from newborns to a few Read more years over 90 and individuals with a wide range of ability. I am CPR and first aid certified and have had a wide range of continued education in caring for individuals and wirking with families.

Hillary was reliable and willing to watch my 9yr old son during a 2 week stretch of time while my husband was out of town and I had to work my crazy full-time work schedule. We were so grateful for her willingness and ability to do homework with him, make him delicious gluten-free meals, play endless football in the back yard, take him to the beach and bug museum, and read with him every night. She appreciated the 'schedule' I wrote for her of his 'routine' on school nights, and she stuck to it (even worked with him on homework with more attention than I expected!) She has a lot of experience with all ages of kids and used creativity to keep my son entertained...and no TV! I would HIGHLY recommend Hillary. I just hope she is available for the next time I need her!

Hilary watched our son while I ran an errand. He had a great time and slept great that night from all their playing. She even cleaned up after giving him his snack! Highly recommend. Nice woman with a positive attitude!
