Hello everyone! My name is Alexis and I want to share how my past experiences caring for infants and children, current Registered Nurse work experience, and BLS/CPR certification make me an excellent caregiver/nanny/babysitter. For two years, I worked as an Infant Assistant at Kids Town Montessori School. I had the opportunity to care for up to 8 infants/toddlers a day with one other caregiver. I administered safe bottle feedings, provided age-appropriate education, toilet training, and care for children from 3 months to 3 years old. I effectively collaborated with one other caregiver a day to create a safe, nurturing, and clean childcare environment and it was one of the most rewarding jobs I ever had the pleasure to do. This, along with past nanny jobs for children ranging from ages 8-13 also gave me invaluable experiences caring for the early elementary/middle school age group children which was such a joy! Read more As a currently working Part Time RN for adults, I have soon realized how much I miss working with children and am wanting to find a nanny/babysitting job I can fit within my schedule (available anytime until 2pm) within commuting distance. I am calm in an emergency, and adaptable to change. I am CPR trained and an effective communicator. I am extremely personable, empathetic, and love working with people of all ages, especially children. I hope to be able to meet with you personally and express my further qualifications. Thank you for your time!
