I started babysitting at the age of fifteen for neighbors children as well as for family. From there I continued to babysit more and more as I got older. At 16 I spent three weeks volunteering in the Dominican Republic working with children. After high school I took a gap year and volunteered in Africa for four months. Two of those months I spent teaching a class of 1.5-5 year olds. The summer after I graduated high school I spent working for the city of Monterey as a recreation leader for the summer. There I worked with kids ages 5-12. I am comfortable working with young infants all the way up to young adults. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I am trained in first aid and CPR from the Red Cross. In addition, I completed a certified babysitting course through the Community Hospital of Monterey.
