1)I have tons and tons of experience babysitting children of all ages,I’ve taken care of my siblings, cousins, and even friend’s children. I have about 12 years of experience with children. I’ve woken them up for school in the morning, made them breakfast, and got them ready for the bus. I have a child of my own also,I can do bottle feedings (my son was a very difficult eater and had food aversions due to being born premature,I’ve changed countless amounts of diapers,I can bathe the children if required,I’ve helped the children get dressed, brushed their teeth and get ready. I handle discipline and behavior management in a very calm and reasonable manner. I’m very patient and understanding,I am not super strict or harsh, punishments would be fair. If there is a specific way you would suggest punishment or correction of behavior, that is something that we would need to discuss,in case we do things differently. I Read more enjoy any activities and games that the children are interested in, whether that be board games, card games,I’m open to doing flash cards with the children if they are at the age of learning words, phrases, shapes, colors, numbers or even the alphabet. If the children would like to go outside and play with bubbles,I’m open to that. If they want to just stay inside and play with toy trucks, cars, trains etc.. I’d be open to that as well. If they would like to read books,I can do that also,it’s really up to the children. I'm open to anything to keep the children happy and entertained. I am comfortable handling emergencies and unexpected situations and will do the best of my ability to make sure that everything goes smoothly and to stay calm. I am very comfortable preparing meals/snacks for the children, I have absolutely no problem with that. I am lactose intolerant but I can still have dairy just in smaller portions, can’t have a lot. But I’m not allergic to anything persay. So whatever the children would like to eat, I can make for them no problem. I will always keep doors locked in the home, always have my eyes and full attention on the children. If out in public I will have them close to me and if acceptable of course, hold their hands when out and about. I will go out of my way to ensure that the children are in a safe environment. For example,my son is very clumsy and falls a lot while also having vision problems, therefore I make sure that items he can trip over or get hurt on are moved out of reach to the best of my ability. I will always encourage the children to be safe,to play safely, and use toys or other objects appropriately. I am currently not trained in CPR or first aid but I am willing to be,in fact I am planning to get CPR certified very, very soon. If you have any other questions or concerns please let me know. Thank you so much for your time and this opportunity.
