Hello, my name is Shakira. I am an outgoing adventurous 22 year old. I was adopted into a large family that nurtured my love for working with children, and connected me to amazing families. I have worked with children of all ages from infant to 11+ and gained at least 5 years of experience. I have taken courses in psychology, child development, and also have experience studying and working in Early Childhood Education. I admire children because they are a reminder of our younger self, and how we use to see the world. I think it’s important that we connect with children on their level, and help play an important roll as they go through life. That is why my goal is to meet each individual families needs by interacting and building relationships with parent/family.
