Hi there! I’m a lifelong kid enthusiast (a.k.a. nanny, teacher, camp counselor, and all-around fun-maker) with over 20 years of experience helping children thrive through creativity, connection, and care. From building epic blanket forts to leading calming yoga sessions, I make every moment with kids meaningful—and a whole lot of fun! For 12 years, I worked as a high school teacher and department chair, where I gained a deep understanding of what kids need to succeed not just academically but emotionally and socially. Over time, I realized that the education system doesn’t always provide the individualized care, attention, and encouragement every child deserves. That’s why I’ve chosen to step outside the system and focus on supporting children in ways that truly meet their unique needs. I have a knack for tuning into what kids are feeling, even when they can’t quite express it themselves. Starting in March, I’ll also be certified as a social and emotional facilitator, allowing me to incorporate mindfulness and emotional growth into everyday activities. I believe in nurturing not just a child’s curiosity but also their sense of confidence, resilience, and self-worth. I’m excited to start full-time nannying in June, but for now, I’d love the chance to babysit and get to know your family better to ensure we’re a great fit.
