I have a little brother I basically raised growing up and it made me independent and very good with children. Since we were so far apart I would help coach his little league baseball team and or babysit his friend’s siblings all the time. I also loved working with kids that have disabilities and around 12 years old I started volunteering for Champions which is a program for the youth who have autism or other disabilities to learn how to play baseball. I also volunteered at an elementary school, OPE where three days a week I would come in and help a first grade class stay on task and play with them during recess. I also would hop in and help out a special needs class from the ages 6-12 in my extra time! I have always loved working with kids and enjoy how they see the world.
