I am so disappointed to be writing my 1st negative review ever of any nanny that has ever come to help our family. We interviewed 10 people for this position and chose Ashley because she was the first to reach out and did great during her interview. We took a chance because she had no real experience, but appreciated her responsiveness in setting up an interview. Ashley was good her first 2 times with us. The kids enjoyed having her around. We established that she would come help us every tuesday evening and as needed if she was available. She called in for her next tuesday shift because she was sick. Completely understandable. The next week, it was only after I texted her that I found out that she was not going to help us again. Week after that, I sent her another text in the morning to confirm. No response after 3 text messages later. We are surprised to see her lack of professionalism. We have 4 kids and communication with our caregivers is so important so we can coordinate pick-ups and what not. Ashley never even had the decency to let us know that she couldn't make it or is no longer interested in helping us out. We are quite disappointed especially knowing that she plans on becoming a nurse. We hope she gains maturity and professionalism. For the 1st time in 4 years through all the help we've been getting, we would NOT recommend Ashley. She is unreliable and has no comprehension of responsibility.
