Hi! Sage here! I just finished my Bachelors in a program called Child, Youth and Family Studies- in the school of Social Work at Portland State University. For the past 10.5 years, I have been employed at Trader Joe’s, while simultaneously caring for families with children ranging in ages from 3 mos. to 12 years. I received Associates degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Moorpark College. Working with little ones is where my heart is at; I am passionate about seeing the world through the lens of each child. I consider myself to be a very caring, nurturing and empathetic person. I have worked in various preschools, my most recent being at a Head Start program, which works with children and families from varying cultural and socio-economical backgrounds.
