Hi! My name is Aeryn - I'm a 27-year-old graduate student working on my Master's in Social Work. Not only do I have childcare experience with a five younger sisters, but I have also gained fantastic skills and experiences through my program! I have worked in a daycare environment with low-income and at-risk kiddos aged 0-6 (including children with special needs, dietary restrictions and medical conditions, as well as providing early education and learning activities). I have also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, working one-on-one with children who need incredible care and empathy and attention to their individual experiences and personalities. This past school year, I worked as a behavior tech / one-on-one with a special needs 3rd grader who I absolutely adore, and am currently working at a summer camp(ish) with the same employer. This camp serves special needs (behavioral, educational, developmental) children and teens, and has Read more been an incredible and diverse learning opportunity! I am experienced in educational assistance, individual learning needs, engaging interests, and being a helpful, loving, passionate friend in addition to caretaker.
