Hello, I’m an 20 year old female interested in gaining experience in babysitting/nannying. I am CPR and first aid certified. I don't have professional-paid caregiving experience, but I have developed the responsibility and skills needed for such a position through babysitting my siblings since they were newborns and up to now (currently 12,9,5). I had the responsibility of cooking, cleaning, and help my siblings with their homework. Such responsibilities also meshed once I began working in the ABA field. . I have worked as a 1:1 Behavioral Therapist for children with special needs for over a year and am currently a 1:1 Behavioral Aide for a middle school student. A couple responsibilities given through my work are: helping students academically, playing games to keep them entertained for long periods of time, de-escalating disagreements between multiple students, introducing gross motor activities, as well as working in verbal skills.
