First thing I'd like to say is I LOVE CHILDREN! I've been around children my entire life. My older siblings have 8 children combined and I've pretty much helped raise them all. I started caregiving when I was 13 years old for my sister. Her children were ages 9, 2, 10months. She worked nights, so I was the perfect candidate for her. I cooked dinner, fed, bathed and put the kids to bed. I also babysat for my brother at that time. His daughter was 4 years old. Fixing lunch and helping my niece with homework while my brother was at work. Between the ages of 14 and 16, I volunteered in my church's children department as a secretary. I made sure all sign in/out sheets were properly filled out and properly filed at the end of each day. I also helped the kitchen crew serve the children lunch and Read more helped teachers in their classrooms from time to time. I currently work for a friend of mine one night a week for about 4 hours while she goes to school. She has two daughters ages 2 and 3. I feed them dinner, play with them and watch TV with them and put them to bed by 8.
