I have been working in childcare for 14 years. I began as a babysitter and later worked as an aupair for two families in Ireland, a nanny for families in my hometown, and in the childcare department of two different gyms. I enjoy working and playing with kids and teaching them new things. I find it very rewarding to connect with a child and watch them grow. I consider myself a very empathetic and caring person with the ability to place myself in the mindset of a child in an attempt to get on their level and determine what kind of interaction will help them be most comfortable and happy. I am happy to help with homework or take them to and from sports practice, rehearsals, events, etc. I am not much of a cook but am capable of preparing simply meals and I enjoy doing light housekeeping. I am Read more willing to take into account whatever your parenting approach is and adjust my behavior and actions to best suit your parenting goals. I am also a huge animal lover with experience petsitting. I would be happy to care for your animals as well! If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them. My rate is flexible and I am willing to come up with an arrangement that works best for all of us.
