I am a parent of 4 children and two of which are toddlers. I babysat as a young girl for neighbors and worked in the daycare for my church. Also, I have worked for families through Nannylane with different age ranges and challenges. I have 24 years dialysis healthcare experience and have worked with many In Home Health Care Provider companies and have worked with special needs children, adults and the elderly in helping assist in a variety of illnesses, disabilities and ages. I am very experienced with all types of care and I have worked in two different hospitals, many dialysis facilities, in home care, as well as trained as a Nursing Assistant at Central Valley Specialty Hospital and almost completed the requirements for the Nursing Program. I also study independently as a Natural Health Care Consultant. I have 90+ units at Merced College towards the Nursing Program, a Read more member of the Health Club and also a member of Honor Society. I started in healthcare when I was only 18 years old. My love of wanting to become a caregiver started when I helped my mother take care of my grandmother when I was only 12 years old. She was diabetic and had had a stroke and my grandfather loved to travel and needed a lot of help. We took turns caring for her and I learned how to care for a diabetic who needed blood sugar checks and took Insulin and needed certain foods. When I was 16 years old, I took a lifeguard training program course and got certified. During that time I also babysat the next door neighbors 3 children. I never had a sister and I also took on that motherly role in the home with two brothers. So, once I began as a Dialysis Technician when I was 18 years old, I bonded strongly with all my patients. They would come for Dialysis three times a week, so for me, I treated all my patients uniquely and compassionately. Once I had 4 children of my own, I find it hard not to see how you could not treat every child like they are also just that-unique and special. Children are honestly gifts from God, innocent. They learn from us. We need to teach and guide them. I have my current CPR-BLS. First Aid/AED. CHT. Certified Hemodialysis Technician with The Department of Public Health and Certified Home Health Aid with the Department of Social Services. Covid Vaccinated with booster and current negative TB.
