I have worked as a babysitter/parents assistant in the past. Paid and unpaid positions. I've cared for newborns to age 14 with up to 4 children at a time. With children under 2, I prefer to work as a parents assistant. I have current certifications in first aid and CPR (infant and general). I am happy to take kids on outings to museums or the beach (though I will need you to provide any needed car seats). I am comfortable preparing and giving snacks or meals. If your little one needs diaper changes, I ask to see you change their diaper once, so I can learn their preferences and peeves. I believe in play and exploration as facilitators for healthy growth, and at the same time, I know the importance of age-appropriate boundaries.
