Hello my name is Destiny and I am 21 years old. I am currently going to school to become a elementary school teacher and I work at a kindercare. I also have a three month old son. At kindercare I worked in the twos room for about a year and now I currently work in the infant room. While working at kindercare I have learned so much about children. I have learned how to get down on their level and show them compassion and understanding. One of my favorite quotes about children is, “they aren’t giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time.” This quote really changed my mindset. When a child is showing these big emotions it’s because they are having a need that is not being met. My son will be staying home with his dad but he his dad has to leave for work at 1:45. I have reliable transportation, I’m cpr certified, and vaccinated for covid!
