In addition to multiple, long lasting babysitting gigs throughout my life, I have worked with youth in varrying capacities that has led me to a career focused on children.I am currently a UC Berkeley graduate student in a specialized field of social welfare working with children and families. I provided behavioral therapy to children with autism for almost 2 years after college, and in my most recent position as a Resident Services Coordinator for a non profit organization that manages affordable housing developments, I ran two after school programs with up to 20 children. I have a strong passion for working with youth as they develop and learn the tools to become well rounded, self sufficient young adults. From a young age, children have been drawn to me and my compassionate, loving nature. Connecting and building trusting relationships with youth is one of my strong suits and again has led Read more me to a career path dedicated to advancing future outcomes for kids
