I believe that some skills can be taught, and some come naturally. For me, caring for and working with children has been my passion and career goal as long as I can remember, and I truly love it. At 12 years old I earned my first CPR/1st Aid certification, and began regularly babysitting. At 18, upon graduating high school, I was hired by my local school district. There, I spent 14 years working with both school aged and preschool aged children, focusing mostly on teaching preschool. Along with organizing and managing a class of 30, I held parent teacher conferences, implemented curriculum, and so much more. Due to Covid, my program was closed down, and I began privately nannying. I have nannying experience with infants, twins, toddlers, school aged, as well as special needs. I also enjoy being a mommy-helper, dog walker, and running errands. I can handle complicated returns, Read more multiple credit cards, shopping, and doing so in a timely manner. Call me crazy but I do enjoy doing chores- there is something so satisfying about tacking a pile dishes or laundry, especially if there is a race against the clock, aka naptime! Most recently, I had been working as a 911 dispatcher for a city within LA County. Upon nearing the end of my training, however, I made the ultimate decision that that line of work was just not for me. Dreams of stroller walks, park hangs, and children's laughter occupied my mind as I sat in that dark and cold communications center, graveyard shift after graveyard shift, and I knew that I needed a change... And that is how I arrived here! Full disclosure, I am in contact with nannying agencies, but have had no luck in finding the right fit. Could it be you?
