Hi!! My name is Ehrin and I’m 23 years old. I started babysitting nieces/nephews and other kids in the neighborhood when I was around 13. Their ages varied from 2-9. I’ve done an out-of home nanny position where I aided in lighthouse work, helping with schooling/homework, and caring for animals as well! I also have experience in a daycare facility where I worked with infants(6 weeks-1yr) and occasionally 2-5year olds. I enjoy being around children and love to help and watch them grow. Ehrin applied to our part time nanny position and we loved what we saw on her resume and wanted to meet her in person. We wanted to get to know her more and chat more about what we were looking for. We expressed that we liked her experience and how we were excited to meet her. Ehrin also expressed this. Unfortunately, Ehrin had car trouble for our first scheduled interview. I told her that’s understandable because I know that can happen sometimes. So we reschedule to the following day in the early afternoon. I texted Ehrin to confirm our meeting and she didn’t respond. I texted her again 30 minutes before our scheduled time and asked if she was still interested and if she would be meeting with us. She didn’t respond and she didn’t show up. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing for us because it was wasted time and energy for us. We could have interviewed 2 Nannie’s with her canceled interview and her no call/no show. Poor communication and unreliable which my family was bummed about.
