My name is Mackenzie and I am going to be a senior at the University of Arizona where I am studying Elementary Education. I am a Tucson native and love the desert. My whole family still lives here as well, and we are all very close. I began babysitting when I was in middle school when my older sister needed help with her two girls. That eventually turned into an every weekend commitment and really helped inspire my career choice as a teacher. Since then, I have continued babysitting as well as volunteering in classrooms, working at an after school center, and working with kids while studying abroad in Chile last year. I am CPR and First Aid certified and do have a fingerprint clearance card (it is required for most child care facilities and schools). I really enjoy working with children of all ages and seeing them grow.
