From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children. I come from a really big family and I was always the one who would babysit or look over all my little cousins. I became a dance instructor for children ages 3-16 and worked at the studio for 4 years. I also was a certified nursing assistant where I had the opportunity to work with children at clinics. Going into college, I nannied for 4 years with two different families, ages 2-9, and continued with families after relocation. In my senior year in college, I interned as a youth mentor for a life skills training and enhancement program and got the opportunity to mentor a fourteen-year-old girl working through behavioral problems and learning how to cope with anxiety. I got CPR and First Aid training, and also went through crisis intervention training. I strive for positivity and lead with kindness, I believe in making the world a better place and finding happiness in the small things in life.
